Show your support for Unicamp by giving a gift to one of our campaigns:
Unicamp’s original mission was to be a UU kids camp in Ontario, and we have been fulfilling this mission for almost 50 years. In order to make camp accessible to our community we have a campership fund that helps to bring kids to Children’s Camp in July.
“I believe that summer camps are an important aspect in the development of a Canadian Identity, and that Unicamp is integral in developing our Canadian Unitarian Universalist Identities. Unicamp is a living example of a unified group of people from many walks of life co-existing respectfully in a natural setting.
By attending camp, Kids experience the sounds and smells of Nature; the textures of trees and grass; the sting of a belly-flop into the pond; that wandering line of fear and fun when walking in the dark; and the warmth of a supportive community. We encourage Kids to be themselves.”
–Adrian Iacovino, Camp Director
Unicamp has been around for almost 50 years – we have big dreams of upgrading our facilities to better serve our community. In 2015 we hosted 4 young adults in the Spring to teach them trade skills while working on capital projects. We are hoping to keep this program running and expand the list of people who know the ins and outs of our property. Help us realize our big dreams and support this fund.
Or if you wish to give an unspecified gift we gladly accept those as well.
